Prior to joining TPR, Shaun was hired as a big data specialist for an investment bank on Wall Street. While at the bank he investigated data anomalies and produced research which contributed to updated pricing methodologies.
Shaun has been able to apply his analytic and visualization techniques to a variety of projects and areas at TPR, including DSH and Medical Education. He has worked with CMS PUF and HCRIS data to create complex benchmarking models on a provider and system level; these models have been critical in identifying specific opportunities and potential areas for Medicare reimbursement. His technology stack includes Python, Pandas, Selenium, SQL, R, VBA, Excel, and ACL.
Shaun graduated from SUNY Geneseo with a Bachelor of Arts in Mathematics in 2006. He also received a Master of Science in the field of Mathematics from SUNY Geneseo in 2008.
