CMS Releases Proposed Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility FY 2027 PPS Update
The Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) are issuing a proposed rule to update the prospective payment rates for inpatient
rehabilitation facilities (IRFs) for Fiscal Year (FY) 2027 (that is, for discharges occurring on or after October 1, 2026, and on or before September 30, 2027) under section 1886(j)(3)(C) of the Social Security Act (the Act).
